God Gave Me You To my beautiful daughters and your families,

I want to tell you how deeply proud I am of each of you as daughters, wives, and mothers—and of your husbands as fathers and sons.

Why I Am Sharing This

I originally planned to give you my book, Beyond a Reasonable Doubt, and the DVD The Way before I went into surgery. The DVD explains why your mother and I felt called to leave the traditional church, and I wanted you to have these resources in case I didn't make it through, hoping they would inspire you to study.

Because of publishing delays and editing errors with the initial printing, I had to rewrite the book. Between both books, there are over 60,000 words and 700 Scripture verses. I believe God inspired this work—waking me up at 3:00 AM morning after morning with verses that expose how far modern church traditions have strayed from His actual Word.

Returning to God's Instructions

God tells us that the whole duty of man is to keep His commandments (Ecclesiastes 12:13). The church calls this "the Law," but God calls them His instructions for life. It comes down to a fundamental choice: Will we obey His commandments as His Son did, leading to eternal life, or follow man-made traditions that lead to separation from Him? (John 3:36).

• What is Sin? Scripture defines sin as breaking God’s commandments (1 John 3:4).

• The Proof of Being Born Again: Those who are born of God do not make a habit of practicing sin (1 John 3:9).

• The Cross: Yeshua paid for our sins and nailed the curse of the law to the cross—not the instructions themselves (Galatians 3:13). He showed us how to live by keeping the Sabbath, honoring His Feast Days, and following His food laws.

• The Promise: We are called to repent, be baptized in the name of Yeshua, and receive the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38) as we look forward to His coming Kingdom on the new earth (Luke 4:43).

My Own Awakening

I used to think my good deeds made me righteous. I attended church twice a week, led Bible studies, handed out tens of thousands of tracts, fed the homeless, built Christian websites, and opened our home to strangers.

Yet despite all of that, I was ignoring God’s plain words in Leviticus, setting aside His Sabbath, and celebrating traditions rooted in paganism. Most painfully, I hadn't taught my own children to keep His commandments as Jesus did. I wake up every day praying for a way to help you see the trap I was in.

A Father's Heart

I know this is a lot to process. But these are God’s own words, and those who belong to God listen to His words (John 8:47).

As your father, I will never stop trying to protect your earthly and eternal well-being. God gave me this understanding, and I am giving it to you out of love. The one thing I cannot bear is the thought of standing before God on Judgment Day and hearing you say: "Daddy, why didn't you make me listen?"
